Free talk at the University of Nottingham Museum at lakeside
Dr Christina Lee, Associate Professor in Viking Studies at the University is giving her talk:
THE ANGLO-SAXON MEDICINE CABINET: Ancientbiotics & modern microbiology
On Wednesday 4th November at 1pm.
‘Our research team of microbiologists and a scholar of medieval language decided to approach infection from a different angle, by looking at medieval remedies. Experiences from the project (which have been reported in local, national and international news) will underpin this talk on interweaving medieval medical approaches with modern antimicrobial research.’
